La respuesta corta es \u201c<strong>NO<\/strong>\u201d, y vamos a tratar de explicarlo a continuaci\u00f3n. <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>Lo primero que hay que decir es que la Seguridad Funcional es mucho m\u00e1s que el cumplimiento de la probabilidad de fallo. La IEC 61511 define el llamado \u201cciclo de vida\u201d del Sistema Instrumentado de Seguridad (SIS) donde encontramos numerosas etapas y conceptos muy importantes (SRS, Dise\u00f1o, FAT, SAT, Verificaci\u00f3n, Validaci\u00f3n, Gesti\u00f3n de la Seguridad, Mantenimiento, fallos hardware y fallos sistem\u00e1ticos, etc.) <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>Respecto al producto en s\u00ed mismo hay dos requerimientos, uno es la <strong>Capacidad Sistem\u00e1tica<\/strong> (producto certificado, \u201cproven in use\u201d o \u201cprior use\u201d) y el otro es el requerimiento de la probabilidad de fallo del que trata este art\u00edculo. Hay un tercer requisito, llamado de <strong>Restricciones de Arquitectura<\/strong>, que tiene que ver con el dise\u00f1o de la Funci\u00f3n Instrumentada de Seguridad (SIF) en cuanto a cu\u00e1l debe ser su redundancia m\u00ednima (1oo1, 1oo2, 2oo3, \u2026). <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-parameters-for-calculation\"><strong>Par\u00e1metros de c\u00e1lculo<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>Para calcular la PFDavg o PFH utilizamos una serie de <a href=\"https:\/\/safetyandsis.com\/es\/parametros-clave-para-calcular-la-pfdavg-de-la-sif\/\">par\u00e1metros<\/a>, algunos de ellos impactan muy significativamente en el resultado como las tasas de fallo, el valor de PTC (\u201cproof test coverage\u201d) y el factor Beta utilizado en las arquitecturas redundantes (1oo2, 2oo3,\u2026)<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>No suele ser sencillo definir con cierto rigor estos tres par\u00e1metros:<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013<strong>Tasas de fallo<\/strong>: \u00bfSon fiables los valores que estoy utilizando? \u00bfCu\u00e1l es su procedencia? \u00bfSon valores v\u00e1lidos para las condiciones de operaci\u00f3n de la planta y para el tipo de servicio \u201csevero\u201d de algunas de las SIFs? Si no son fiables lo recomendable es multiplicarlos por un factor entre 2 y 5.   <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013<strong>Proof Test Coverage (PTC)<\/strong>: Este par\u00e1metro mide cu\u00e1ntos fallos somos capaces de detectar al realizar las pruebas de mantenimiento. A menudo se desprecia este valor asumiendo que es 100% lo que en la pr\u00e1ctica es imposible. Muchos de los fallos est\u00e1n \u201cocultos\u201d y no se detectan. Un valor t\u00edpico para una v\u00e1lvula es 70% o incluso menos. Este factor debe facilitarlo el fabricante del producto. Una variaci\u00f3n de s\u00f3lo un 3% en este par\u00e1metro puede tener un impacto grande en el resultado de PFDavg. \u00bfQu\u00e9 tipo de pruebas vamos a hacer? \u00bfEstamos seguros de que las vamos a hacer completas para cumplir el valor de PTC definido?       <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013<strong>Factor Beta:<\/strong> Este factor cuantifica los posibles fallos de causa com\u00fan en las arquitecturas redundantes como 1oo2 o 2oo3. Por defecto se utilizan valores de 5%\/2%\/10% para el sensor\/logic solver\/actuador. <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>En las siguientes tablas se muestran ejemplos para entender el enorme impacto que tienen estos par\u00e1metros al calcular la PFDavg:<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tabla 1: Suponemos las mismas tasas de fallos DD y DU =800 FITS (TI=1 a\u00f1o; El valor no es el mismo, pero desde un punto de vista pr\u00e1ctico la diferencia no es tan relevante. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9? Por lo dicho anteriormente, porque este error en el <strong>c\u00e1lculo de la probabilidad de fallo<\/strong> es insignificante comparado con el error que hemos cometido al <strong>utilizar par\u00e1metros poco rigurosos o de dudosa procedencia.<\/strong>   <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>La norma IEC 61511 no obliga a utilizar ninguna herramienta certificada para realizar estos c\u00e1lculos de verificaci\u00f3n del SIL, pueden incluso hacerse manualmente o con una hoja de c\u00e1lculo.
