We provide SIL verification services using our SILcet tool and other tools such as exSILentia. 

The price per SIF (Safety Instrumented Function), with SILcet, can range between €150 and €250, depending on the complexity of the SIFs and the detail of the information provided. Read more

② It’s possible to draw the Logic Diagram of the SIF (one by one).

FAQs

  • For SILcet Pro Plus there are multi-PC licences valid from 2 to 20 PCs.This means all users can open the Excel file and use all the advanced features of SILcet.
  • Users that normally use 2 different PCs (desktop and laptop) can get 2 licenses at a much better price. Contact us for more information and prices.
  • Users can read Failure Rates from a shared Excel file in the server.

After 1 year the Excel macros will be locked but you can see all Excel sheets and cells as in any Excel file. If you have some Reports you can still print them out or save them as PDF by using the standard Excel options. Anyone can open an Excel file of SILcet to see the information, the reports and the results of the calculations.
At any time you can buy a new license to get back all the features of the tool.
The tool “SILcet” is based on Excel, therefore you can use all Excel features even after license expiration. The only exception are the Excel macros, it’s not possible to add macros. After license expiration the macros will not work.

On each Excel file there are a maximum of 70 SIFs, to make calculations, comparisons, reports, etc. We can save an unlimited number of Excel files, one per project, each one with 70 SIFs. All of them works with the same license.
